My Music… Where I begun and why I like it!

So Music for me started in High School with a band playing mostly rock songs where I played the Bass Guitar in a 5 piece band which were our own under the name Postmortem, Skip forward a few years and I met Jason who I worked with and is a good friend of mine and he had a set of turntables at his house in Pyrmont where I would go after work or on the weekends and start having a mix and then it turned into buying some records after work on a Friday and heading back to his house and having a mix to give the records that we had just bought a proper spin, back then it was a lot more Electro influenced music, which now I’m not a big fan of.

I however still enjoy some of the songs of that era! Having moved forward a few years Jase and my music took a break from the Electro scene and become fans of the Tech House & Deep House genre’s Jase was no longer living at Pyrmont he was living at Bondi and we would do similar things as we did before although CDJ’s were around so there was not the need to buy some records just to bring a few CD’s of the newer music you had downloaded off Beatport and we would go across the road to the pub buy a few beers and go back and have a mix all afternoon into the evening.

From those years just playing alongside of my mate I had also played quite a few club night’s starting with Candy's Apartment to a few other places which I’m not too sure of the name of them as they were mostly pubs that had an upstairs section where the DJ’s would be and all playing the similar styles of music, the last places I can remember playing were a lot more local for me as I lived at Cronulla and they were Sting Bar, Fusion and 2230 where I played all Tech House and Deep House styles of music, that was by myself and I had also played with another mate Chris as D.J Muttdangs and we were resident DJ’s at Candy's Apartment, Dub Rave and Home nightclub.

Now having my injury I’m back at square one or even a bit before it in regards to my music production as I had started doing it quite a while ago but remember nothing of it so I’m having to try and remember it all, however lucky for me I am getting help with it in regards to my music Production.
